Katy Perry will keep audiences "guessing" at the Grammys this Sunday.

The Teenage Dream singer is prepping for one of her first public performances since her split from Russell Brand.

On the last few dates of Katy's California Dreams Tour, which ended late January, the flirty singer received a kiss on the cheek from one cute male audience member every show.

Katy is intent on keeping the spontaneity coming in this weekend's show.

"Sunday evening will definitely be a guessing game," Katy told ET Online. "But it will be exciting, it will be very fun, challenging and fresh. I'm just pleased that they allow me to come back here and make a mess of things."

Katy, who has been nominated for Best Record of the Year for Firework and Best Pop Solo Performance, is looking forward to Sunday's performance. She absolutely loves attending the glamorous event.

"It's always exciting," Katy gushed. "It's an honour and it's the Grammys, it's very prestigious. You don't mess around with the Grammys."

Katy signed her divorce papers from Russell this week with a smile on the signature line.

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on Sunday.
