(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katy Perry doesn't care that eating a "ton of garlic" is a "man deflector" as she's happily single.

The songstress took to Twitter to update fans on her recent food escapades. Despite being linked to French model Baptiste Giabiconi, Katy says her smelly diet habits are perfectly fine as she's currently enjoying the single life.

"Just ate a ton of garlic, heard it's an immune booster #hopeitwerks #mandeflecter #singleandsatisfied (sic)," she wrote on the social networking site.

Katy's rumoured beau Baptiste posted a photograph of the pair on the social networking site earlier this week. The two were pictured looking cosy in the intimate snap, with the blue-haired singer sitting with her arm around Baptiste.

The 22-year-old hunk wrote an accompanying caption with the picture: "@B_Giabiconi @katyperry hey my #littlekats u look So amazing in this pics !:) "

Katy was first linked to the Chanel star when they were spotted leaving a Parisian hotel together earlier this month. The beauty was in the French capital to celebrate the last few remaining dates of Paris Fashion Week.

However, Baptiste shunned reports the romance was heating up this week, when he confirmed the pair were just friends.

"Katy Perry is a real good friend. Seriously, we appreciate each other, we see each other regularly, when she is here [in France], when I'm over there [in the US]," he told News-de-stars.com. "Lately we saw each other in London as I was rehearsing with my musicians as my tour starts soon in Germany and she had a show. She performed on a UK TV channel and it happened we were leaving on the same day, so we left in the same train. As simple as that Yes [I am single]." (C) Cover Media
