The 26-year-old pop star goes for kookier fashion nowadays, and has earned herself style icon status thanks to her vintage-inspired feminine attire.

As a teenager Katy experimented with biker trends though, and admits she had a fantastic time getting dolled up like a rock star.

I remember sneaking into a concert when I was 13 with my best friend, Eve. We got all dressed up in leather pants and tried to look super rock n roll. It was the coolest thing ever, she beamed.

Katy will embark on her California Dreams Tour later this month, and the beauty has spoken in the past about how much effort she is putting into the shows aesthetic. The star plans to change her on-stage outfits around 15 to 20 times per spectacle, and will be relying on Velcro to help keep her skimpy attire on.
