It has just been a day that filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj's film 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola' (MKBKM) has released and positive reviews have already started pouring in for one of the lead protagonist Pankaj Kapoor who plays 'Mandola' in it.
Apart from critics and fans, the one admirer of Pankaj's work in the film is his son Shahid Kapoor. The dutiful loving son recently expressed his opinions over his father's quirky performance in the film 'MKBKM'.
Shahid states that he loved to see his father in such a colorful character after a long time. He adds that watching him onscreen has been a very entertaining experience as he was excited to see Pankaj enjoy his character onscreen.
Shahid says that the film is special for him for more than one reason. First that his father was working on it and the other was the fact that it was directed by Vishal who gave Shahid a super hit cult film 'Kaminey'.
Reportedly, Shahid was supposed to lead 'Kaminey 2' but after working with Imran Khan, Vishal was toying with the idea of replacing Shahid in the sequel.
Nonetheless it seems like Shahid is still not out of the race.
