Katy Perry has urged her fans and loved ones to never "give up".
The star has had an amazing year after completing a hugely successful tour and holding a chart-topping singles record. She also lent her voice to the big-screen version of The Smurfs and has been nominated for two Grammys.
Katy is very thankful for being so busy in 2011 and advised her Twitter followers to never abandon their dreams.
"Grow up but don't give up," she wrote.
The singer also added another accomplishment to her list this weekend.
She hosted comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live for the first time.
The brunette beauty was joined by SNL favourites Alec Baldwin and Kristen Wiig.
Katy did impressions of Christina Aguilera and British socialite Pippa Middleton.
She had obviously been getting tips of her husband Russell Brand to perfect her English accent.
It was previously rumoured that Katy and Russell were having marriage troubles, but the Fireworks singer put any gossip to rest by tweeting her feelings about him last night.
"My husband us on fire tonight. #turnedon," she typed.
Katy quickly tweeted again to correct her error. She joked about her poor typing skills.
"*is* ps still haven't grown thumbs," she wrote.
