(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Katy Perry says her upcoming tour will represent a cartoon version of her life.
In February Katy will embark on her California Dreams Tour, which will see her performing in destinations such as Europe, Australia and North America.
The songstress is extremely excited about it, and has revealed each show will follow a plot based on the events of her life, almost like a piece of musical theatre.
The show has a Broadway feel to it. It's got a story line that's going to be very interesting kind of loosely based on my life, but a cartoon version, she explained to Rolling Stone.
Katy is collaborating with the producer who worked on singer Pinks Funhouse Tour in 2009, and says shes determined for the shows to be a huge spectacle. The star has already planned some exciting outfits, and thinks her fans will realise what a perfectionist she is when they watch her performances.
Touring is no longer an ordinary thing where you play an instrument in jeans and a T-shirt. It has some pizzazz these days, and I'm definitely bringing the pizzazz with a lot of bells and whistles, she enthused.
I am a woman of detail, and you will be seeing that even down to the 15 outfit changes I'm doing in concert.
The star revealed there is a food theme running through the performance too. She admits some people may find certain elements outrageous, although insists the shocks wont be X-rated.
I have this whole thing in my show that is about candy and cupcakes and meat, she added. It's both really sweet and shocking, but not in a sexual way. (C) Cover Media
