(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kelis has revealed she brings her baby son with her every time she goes to work.

The American singer gave birth to Knight last June her son with ex-husband Nas - and cant bear to be parted from him.

The feisty performer insists that just because she is a famous singer doesnt mean that her attitude towards her child is any different to other working mothers.

Being an artist makes me no different to anybody else. I wouldnt leave my kid to go to work, its just my works a bit different to other womens, she told Look magazine.

Kelis - who is known for tracks such as Milkshake and Caught out There - has recently been touring in America with Swedish singer Robyn.

She didnt want to leave her young son behind at home while she was on the road, which didnt prove to be much of a problem.
