(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kellan Lutz felt "pampered" on the set of his new film.

The American actor is best known for his role as Emmett Cullen in the hugely-successful vampire film franchise Twilight.

The 26-year-old star stars in upcoming film Immortals alongside Henry Cavill and Luke Evans. They shot the fantasy action-drama in Canada recently, and Kellan says the experience was a pleasant one as he was very well looked after on set.

"We also had trainers and nutritionists. I felt pampered. I want to do a movie like that every time because you're eating right. My biggest let down is when I have catering in front of me or Craft Service, I'm like, Ooh! M&Ms! Gummy Bears!" he laughed in an interview with Access Hollywood.

Kellan plays Greek god Poseidon in the upcoming Tarsem Singh-directed picture, and had to work hard to maintain his rippling abs. The hunky star says he and his fellow actors were eating all the time in a bid to maintain their impressive physiques.

"Lots of protein," he said. "We had workout regimes and [we're] just constantly eating. We always had someone bringing us chicken, tuna, steak sometimes, but every hour it seemed like.

"They'd switch it up, it wasn't just meat, meat, meat, there'd be carrots," he added. "And we had salads here and there and we'd have a mix of mango salsa, it was just really a diverse grouping of food and small portions too."

Despite boasting an impressive physique, Kellan had massive amounts of praise for his co-star Henry, who recently bulked up for his starring role in the Superman reboot.

Kellan says the British actor was humble about his "ripped" body, and added the whole cast were very supportive of each other.

"Henry is ripped. He's ripped, especially now for him playing Superman. It was just really cool to be around so many guys and there was no competition," he said. "Everyone was just very much encouraging and you know, we'd spot each other and we'd just have fun." (C) Cover Media
