(Cover) - EN Star Style - Khlo Kardashian says her hair was so unruly as a kid, her mom use to put "big cellophane bows" on her head to "cover it".

The reality television star is famed for her immaculately groomed style and ultra-glamorous fashion choices, but insists she wasn't always so style conscious.

Her mom Kris Jenner didn't know how to control her curly tresses when Khlo was a child as she was so used to elder siblings Kourtney and Kim's poker straight hair.

"I always had a curly afro as a kid. I've naturally curly hair, so for some reason my mom is stuck with these two girls with stick straight hair, then I come out with this blonde curly hair. She had no idea what to do. She would brush it and it would be like this [gestures away from her head with her hands]" she explained in an interview with Us magazine. "And then she would stick a big cellophane bow on my head to cover it. They thought that was funny."

Khlo, 26, is still uncertain about how to style her wavy hair. The brunette beauty insists she owes her kempt style to her team of stylists, and admits she wouldn't know what to do without them.

"For me, if it wasn't for my hairdressers I'm so blessed to have all the time, I wouldn't know what to be doing with my own hair. I still don't know, when they're not there at my house I'm like, OK, what do I do today?' I don't know," she said. "You tell them your problems and they give you the solution."

Meanwhile older sister Kourtney suffers with flyaway hair. The beauty gave birth to son Mason in December 2009, and has since found her hair is more prone to snapping.

"I have breakage. When you breastfeed, a lot of your hair falls out. It's growing back so I have these crazy flyaways at all times," she admitted. (C) Cover Media
