Kiefer Sutherland has foul-mouthed regret

14th November 2010

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kiefer Sutherland wishes his character in 24 had been allowed to curse.

The 43-year-old actor is best known for his portrayal of Jack Bauer on the hugely successful television show.

Kiefer is immensely proud of his involvement with 24, and loves his character, although he does have one regret.

The star wishes Jack could have been able to use foul language because he believes it would have made his character appear even more threatening.

I would have liked to have been able to swear... I would have been the most foul-mouthed b*****d of all time. Id have made Tony Soprano look like a choir boy, laughed the star in an interview with Empire magazine.

Kiefer admits he developed a ritual over the years where he would start the day by cursing to get it out of his system. The star thinks the show could have taken a different path if it had been on a different channel.

When shooting I used to say, F**k! as soon as I got out of bed. I often think about what would have happened if we were on cable instead of Fox, he added. (C) Cover Media
