Kim Kardashian has added extra security to her team after being attacked with flour at a red carpet event last week.

The 31-year-old reality star has apparently been quite shaken up from the incident and wants to ensure that her personal space isn't breached again.

A source told RadarOnline that Kim has put measures in place to make her feel safer.

"Kim has totally beefed up her security team," the insider said. "She definitely wants to make sure she's a lot more protected."

When Kim attended an event on Saturday night she was apparently flanked by guards for the entire night.

"Usually at a party Kim looks like she's having a lot of fun but at this party she looked really nervous and was jittery," an eyewitness noticed.

"Kim is obviously nervous about what happened and she was constantly checking to see who was around her and what they were doing and if she knew them."

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is said to be considering whether she should press charges against the anti-fur campaigner that threw the flour.
