Kim Kardashian's friends are reportedly planning to stage a relationship intervention.

The reality TV star famously split from her husband Kris Humphries last year, after just 72 days of marriage. They are in the process of divorcing and Kim has recently started dating Kanye West.

Although her loved ones want her to be happy, they are concerned she has jumped into a new romance far too soon.

"[Her friends] are planning an intervention to convince Kim she's making the wrong choice," a source told Look magazine.

Kim's sister Khlo recently insisted her sister and the rapper make a very sweet couple. However, her step-father Bruce Jenner is said to have reservations about the relationship because he thinks Kim needs to take time on her own to get over her marriage breakdown.

Friends are also thought to be worried that Kim and Kanye don't have enough in common.

"Since Kris, Kim's said she wants to find a nice man who's ready to settle down with her and have babies," the insider added. "Instead she's chosen to hook up with one who's seen as a total party animal."
