(Cover) - EN Star Style - Kim Kardashian has called Marilyn Monroe's reported ice bath beauty regime "torturous".

The glamorous late actress reportedly used to bathe in ice cold water to ensure that her skin stayed firm and fresh.

Kim, who is renowned for her stunning looks and enviable curves, insists that she would never emulate Marilyn's unusual beauty regime.

"That seems torturous!" she told the British edition of OK! Magazine. "I couldn't do the ice bath thing. I hate being cold, that would literally kill me!"

The reality television star works hard to maintain her curvaceous figure but favours exercise over ice baths. The raven-haired beauty has been training especially hard of late in preparation for her summer wedding to NBA star Kris Humphries.

Kim has revealed training so hard gets tough at times.

"When I work out sometimes it feels so hard," she said, "but you have to push through to get the results."

Kim's beauty routine includes getting deep tissue massage to soothe her sore muscles after a workout. To keep her skin well-exfoliated the stunning star likes to visit Korean spas for an intense body scrubs.
