(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Simon Cowell has confirmed that Khlo Kardashian and Mario Lopez will be hosting US The X Factor.

The music mogul and the co-creator of this TV talent competition is elated to welcome Khlo and Mario to the show.

Simon believes that the pair will do an excellent job.

"The worst kept secret in Hollywood is out," Simon said in a statement to MTV News. "Mario and Khlo are our hosts. They will debut on our first live show in November and I couldn't be happier."

Khlo is convinced that she and the cast will have a great time.

"I'm so thrilled to become a part of the X Factor family," she gushed.

"I've been a big fan of the show and look forward to working with Simon and all of the judges. It's going to be so much fun!"

Mario is a veteran presenter and he is currently an anchor for Extra.

The star can't wait to take his skills to the next level on the programme.

"I'm very excited to be joining the X Factor team," Mario said.

"I love the show, and I've been a big fan of Simon Cowell and the judges for a long time. Khlo and I have been friends for years and I know we'll be a great team and have a blast."
