(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kim Kardashian treated herself to a $450,000 car to celebrate her wedding.

The reality TV beauty married basketball star Kris Humphries in California earlier this month. The nuptials were lavish and cost millions of dollars, but Kim didn't stop there when it came to flashing the cash.

The 30-year-old has also purchased a new set of wheels, investing in a white Ferrari 458. Not content with the way the car arrived though, she decided to shell out $80,000 for improvements.

"The Ferrari has carbon-fibre interior and accessories, $15,000 Agetro wheels and a number of other bells and whistles," a source told Star magazine.

The vehicle is one of only 28 in America. Kim took it to Platinum Motorsports in Los Angeles to have the upgrades made and is thought to be thrilled with the results.

Among the high-end aspects of the car is the engine area, which is covered in glass so it can be easily viewed.

Following their star-studded nuptials, Kim and Kris went on a mini honeymoon to Europe. They spent time on the Amalfi Coast in Italy, opting to stay in a five star hotel which costs $3,300 per person per night.

The pair spent time sunbathing by the swimming pool and eating sumptuous dinners, before returning to America so Kim could attend the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles on Sunday.

"We were planning on waiting til next summer to take [a honeymoon]. But Kris surprised me last minute!" Kim said at the ceremony. "Our honeymoon was so perfect! We caught up on alone time." (C) Cover Media
