Kirsten Dunst bans father from raunchy movie

24th August 2012

Kirsten Dunst told her father to "not even try" watching her new movie Bachelorette - because it is too raunchy.

The actress insisted her parent would not like the comedy, which features plenty of sex and debauchery.

The comedy tells the story of three friends who are asked to be bridesmaids at the wedding of a woman they used to ridicule back in school.

"I can't do that to him," Kirsten told E! News. "I didn't even tell him there was an L.A. premiere. And I was like, 'Yeah, dad - don't even try getting it on iTunes because you will not like this movie. You're a prude. You will hate it. I know you!'"

Kirsten added that she enjoyed starring in a comedy and would like to take on more light-hearted roles.

The blonde beauty has starred in a variety of genres throughout her career but doesn't think audiences see as her as a funny actress.

"I've wanted to do a comedy but it's hard sometimes because people don't see you in a comedic way, even though I did most of my teen roles in comedies," she said. "This was perfect time and a perfect script."
