September 11, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): It seems that Komaram Puli is running from one controversy to the other every day, the movie went through a lot of hurdles to get released. Now in a recent turn of events it has been revealed that the producers of the movie will change its name from 'Komaram Puli' to 'Puli'. The movie has been involved in a lot of financial troubles and now it will be released as 'Puli' all over the world.

Most of the Telugu films are released in 100 or more centers but 'Puli' is slated to release in more than 1000 centers all over the world. The producers think this will be single biggest Tollywood hit after 'Magadheera'. The producers Kanakarathna Movies have taken the decision to remove the controversial 'Komaram' from the movie title 'Komaram Puli' to change it to 'Puli'.

The Title 'Komaram' belongs to a courageous Telengana warrior 'Komaram Bheem' who fought for the tribal. The change has been made effective immediately but it will visible in theaters from September 11 only. The production house Kanakarathna movie has been courting controversy since the very beginning. Reports suggest that their next venture "khaleja' has also run into some problems regarding the title. We hope the new title 'Puli' works wonders for the film in the box office.
