Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma is one of those lucky actresses who got the opportunity to work with Yash Raj Films (YRF) at the very start of her career. She was chosen by filmmaker Aditya Chopra who had signed her as a newcomer for his directorial venture where she was seen opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.

Later too, she did films with YRF. And this she says happened because of the faith Aditya Chopra had in her. Talking about one of her first encounters with the man when she was signed for 'Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi', she revealed that it were his words which encouraged her to do well in films. "Adi said to me "I have not taken you because you are the most beautiful girl, but I have taken you as you are the most talented girl". That compliment reinstated the confidence in me that all that my father had taught me was right. I felt like the most important person on earth. He changed my life," said Anushka.

Revealing more about Aditya, the reserved person who stays away from the limelight, Anushka claims that he is principled and emotional at the same time. "Aditya is a principled man and is correct in the way he does things. He keeps to himself but is extremely emotional. He is a tough taskmaster and a businessman but his people love him," added Anushka confessing that she considers him to be her mentor. "To me, he is my mentor who envisioned more for me than I did for myself," stated Anushka.
