(Cover) - EN Star Style - Kris Jenner says she underwent a facelift to "freshen up" before her daughter Kim Kardashian's upcoming wedding.

The American television personality recently underwent the cosmetic procedure as part of her preparation for Kim's highly-anticipated nuptials to Kris Humphries later this year.

The 55-year-old star appeared with husband Bruce on CBS chatshow The Talk on Thursday, where co-host Sharon Osbourne praised the brunette on her "gorgeous" glow.

"I needed a little freshening up for the wedding," she explained. "Just doing what a girl's gotta do!"

Kris' facelift will be featured on an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Her daughters are thrilled with their mother's new appearance, particularly Khlo, who gushed last week about how great she looked following the cosmetic procedure.

"She looks amazing," she said. "They say you are supposed to have a lot of swelling for a week or so after, but I didn't notice." (C) Cover Media
