(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kristen Stewart can relate to Bella Swans pregnancy predicament in Breaking Dawn Part 1.
The actress plays Bella in the hugely popular vampire franchise Twilight. In the fourth instalment of the fantasy series Bella conceives with her vampire boyfriend Edward Cullen, which leads to an agonising labour when their daughter Renesmee is born.
Kristen can relate to her character, and agrees with Bellas decision to keep her half-vampire baby.
Im so on Bellas side, she told Entertainment Weekly. The idea of destroying something they made together that could never happen again It has nothing to do with the pro-life thing. I just love the idea of her fighting. Shes been willing to die for so much, but now you actually see her, well, literally die for it.
The 21-year-old, who is in an relationship with her on-screen love Robert Pattinson, says Bellas predicament could happen to her at any point, except for the whole vampire thing. The American thinks it is a normal occurrence for young people to become parents nowadays.
This really could happen to anyone my age. I mean, maybe not the whole vampire thing, but everything else, she explained. It didnt feel like, Oh, how could you have possibly played this? Its so beyond your years! Its like, Not really, dude. I could f**king get pregnant tomorrow.
Kristen admits filming the birth scenes was a great experience. She wishes however, that the film, which had to keep a PG-13 rating, would have been graphic as it was written in Stephanie Myers novel.
"The birth is really effective, and I've heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that's how it was written in the book. I would have loved to have been puking up blood," she said. (C) Cover Media
