(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lady Gaga has thrown a royal wedding-themed party to mark the end of her tour.

The flamboyant singer began The Monster Ball Tour in 2009 and it will come to an end next month, when she plays the final three dates. As the finish line is now in sight Gaga decided to throw a lavish bash to thank her dancers and the behind-the-scenes crew for all their help, staging the party on Wednesday.

Britains Prince William will marry his fiance Kate Middleton in London today and Gaga thought the splendid occasion would be the perfect theme for her event.

Gaga had the time of her life on occasion she was even talking in a cockney accent, a source told British newspaper The Daily Mirror.

Her attention to detail was impressive. She had a special room decorated backstage in British flags and bunting and everyone was told to work the royal look. Her dancers came dressed as Wills and Harry, Henry VIII and even corgis. Gaga also brought along a sceptre and crown for her mother.

Food included cucumber sandwiches with no crusts, coronation chicken and crumpets while drinks were sipped from cups emblazoned with William and Kates faces. Bunting in the Union Jack flag colours was also put up for a festive feel.

Gaga also decided to make the music a British affair, playing hits from Wham! and Sir Elton John. She is even said to have dressed as the late Queen Mother, and burst into a powerful rendition of the national anthem at one point during the party. (C) Cover Media
