(Cover) - EN Star Style - Kristen Stewart always feels confident when she has smoky eyes.
The actress is rarely seen without lashings of dark eyeliner, with the cosmetic in place when she attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala in New York earlier this week. The star wore a floor-length red and black Proenza Schouler gown to the prestigious fashion event and her make-up look topped it off perfectly.
Beau Nelson created Kristens face for the gala and has discussed why she decided to play up Kristens eyes.
As much as Kristen isn't a make-up everyday kind of girl, she does love the end result of the getting ready process. Smoky eyes make her feel ready and confident to take on the red carpet, she told Us Weekly.
Kristens eyes were rimmed with CoverGirl Liquiline Blast in Black Fire, which was then carefully smudged for a sultry look. Liquid liner was then used to top up the look, which was covered in black eye shadow to ensure it stayed in place. Liquid liner was also used on Kristens rims, and the look was finished off with two coats of mascara on both lash lines.
Kristen loves to always try something different and weve never done a smoky eye that stayed so close to the lashes, it was almost a little punk, the make-up artist added. (C) Cover Media
