Kristen Stewart is said to be "finally ready" to take the next step with boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

The Twilight beauty was reportedly seen trying on engagement rings in Neil Lane jewellery store in West Hollywood with a friend in early June, according to In Touch.

Sources told the publication that they were stunned when Kristen headed straight for the nuptial-style pieces in the famed boutique.

"She was trying on gold rings with various coloured diamonds," the insider revealed. "Nothing traditional."

The 22-year-old starlet is said to prefer taking "baby steps" in her long term relationship with her co-star.

"She loves Rob, and she's finally ready an engagement is a logical next step," the source shared.

"In the past year, they've really heated up moving in together, travelling together and introducing each other to friends."

The pair have been dating for around four years after meeting on the set of the hit vampire franchise.
