(Cover) - EN Fashion - Kristen Stewart?s stylist says the star struggled with the tight leather trousers she had to wear in her movie The Runaways.

Kristen is best known for playing wholesome teenager Bella Swan in the Twilight movie franchise, so playing the rock star Joan Jett in The Runaways was a huge style departure for the actress.

Carol Beadle, the on-set stylist for the movie, has revealed how much Kristen disliked being clad in leather, especially since shooting was taking place in the warm Californian sun.

?Filming was pretty hard for Kristen as we were shooting in temperatures of up to 105F in California, and she had to wear leather every day,? Carol told Britain?s More! magazine.

She also revealed the trousers were so tight that slim Kristen had a struggle to do them up.

?Her trousers were so tight. Sometimes it was really hard to get her in them,? she said.

However, Kristen?s make-up artist from the movie, Robin Matthews, was quick to add that Kristen did enjoy some aspects of her new look, and particularly liked her edgy hairstyle in the movie, which tells the tale of the 70s teenage rock band The Runaways.

?She?d been stuck in one look for a long time and I think she felt that Bella was known for her hair. She was excited to get away from that,? explained Robin. (C) Cover Media
