(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kristin Cavallari was "laughing through" her initial labour pains.

The reality TV star and her fianc Jay Cutler welcomed their son Camden into the world August 8.

When Kristin first felt pain in her loins around 4AM she contacted American football player Jay, who was away at Chicago Bears training camp, immediately.

She then phoned her physician, as she thought she was in false labour.

"I texted Jay and he happened to be awake and he said, I'm coming home!' " Kristin recalled to People magazine.

"We went for a walk and I could get through the pains. I said, Ouch this really hurts,' but I was kind of laughing through them. My doctor was like, Trust me, you'll know when it's the real deal!'"

That afternoon, after Jay returned home from football practice, Kristen really went into labour.

She spent 10 hours delivering her baby boy.

"The pain was like nothing I've ever experienced," Kristen said.

"It was so painful but a different kind of pain because I knew we were going to meet our son. It was worth every minute and I'll do it again." (C) Cover Media
