(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Kristin Cavallari feels that pregnant women can forego maternity clothes and "still look great."

The reality TV star is nearly six months pregnant with her first child with fianc football quarterback Jay Cutler.

Kristin refuses to wear frumpy maternity garb as she is unconcerned about her baby bump.

"I feel really confident in my body," she told Life & Style magazine. "I think you can be a mum and still look great."

Kristin wears a lot of pieces in her wardrobe that she donned before she got pregnant.

"I don't think you need to spend tons of money on maternity clothes," she said. "[I still wear jeans], I just can't zip or button them, so I wear the belly band that goes around the button to hold them up."

Kristin is a fan of casualwear and is stocking up on tank tops in preparation for baby spills in the future.

"If they get ruined, it's not a big deal because they're inexpensive," she said.

Kristin is currently designing shoes and jewellery for fashion label Chinese Laundry. (C) Cover Media
