(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Scarlett Johansson proudly showed off the minor bodily injuries she sustained while filming The Avengers.

The stunning actress plays the Black Widow in the comic book action adventure, which also stars Robert Downey Jr., Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Renner and Chris Hemsworth.

Scarlett didn't shy away from exhibiting her bangs and scrapes to castmates.

"I have the largest bruise on my [bum]," she told USA Today. "Huge. I have shown it to everyone by the way."

Jeremy didn't find the wounds to be visually pleasing.

"It's disgusting," he said to the publication. "You have to get that thing drained."

Scarlett believes that The Avengers was probably one of the most physically grueling movies in history.

"We end up on the ground a lot," she laughed. "We're not flying through the air like Iron Man or Thor. Flying would mean a lot less bruising."
