The singer is famously flamboyant, and loves shocking with extravagant costumes both on and off stage. She is regularly seen out in just her underwear, and has repeatedly insisted her image isnt calculated.

The 24-year-old star says she knew from a young age that she would be famous because she dared to test her limits.

Some of us are born stars and I definitely was. Im super smart, Im outrageous, I push barriers Im an artist! she told OK! magazine.

The eccentric musician who arrived at the recent Grammy Awards encased in a giant egg insists that she doesnt care about her financial gain as long as she is expressing herself through the medium of art. This passion, she says, is what spurs her on to be a successful recording artist.
