(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lady Gaga has made the Top 10 in Forbes list of the Worlds 100 Most Powerful Women.
Since 2004 the prestigious magazine has compiled a list of the women it considers to be the worlds most far-reaching, based on visibility and economic status.
Lady Gaga, 24, came in at number seven this year, which features some of the worlds most significant politicians and businesswomen. In the realm of entertainment she was only beaten by chat show host Oprah Winfrey, who came in at number three.
The list was topped by Americas first lady Michelle Obama, who is the first African American to be named the planets most powerful woman.
Other famous faces in the Top 10 included R&B superstar Beyonc Knowles (number nine) and television presenter Ellen DeGeneres (number ten).
Republican politician Sarah Palin made number sixteen in the list, and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie just missed the Top 20, arriving at number 21. Pop icon Madonna just scraped into the Top 30, as she was listed at number 29.
Big names from the showbiz world who also made the compilation include actress Sarah Jessica Parker (45), Twilight author Stephenie Meyer (49), and supermodels Gisele Bndchen (72) and Heidi Klum (39). (C) Cover Media
