(Cover) - EN Star Style - Lady Gaga has thanked Polaroid for honouring her as a woman during their camera-sunglasses collaboration.
The 24-year-old pop star has a vast influence in the realms of music and fashion, thanks to her unique records and ground-breaking fashion sense.
The singer has been working with camera-makers Polaroid for the past year to come up with a pair of shades with cameras fitted into the lenses, and yesterday saw the star unveil the sunglasses at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Speaking at the event, the star told listeners she was overwhelmed by the experience and had appreciated the way Polaroid gave her such control.
"I love the products, I'm so proud to be here," she beamed. "They honoured me as a woman, as a creative director and they really let me [put my] hands in there and design this sh*t myself."
As well as the wacky GL20 sunglasses, the range which is called Grey Label by Haus of Gaga boasts a host of other gadgets, although it is the spectacles which have caused most interest. The singer wore a black corseted outfit and veil as she paraded the innovative new item, explaining how it all works.
"This is the first ever pair of sunglasses that can be worn out to protect your eyes from the sun and they can also take pictures," she said.
The product Lady Gaga displayed is still a prototype, so it will be a while before fans can purchase the shades in stores. (C) Cover Media
