Lakshmi Rai has refuted reports appeared in a section of the media, which claimed that a special aircraft was arranged from Mumbai to Chennai for her to attend the inaugural ceremony of Indian Premier League (IPL).

'It is true that a special flight was arranged. But it was not just for me. It transported all the stars who took part in the IPL, from Mumbai to Chennai,' said the actress, who also denied the influence of a VIP behind her trip.

'No special privliege was accorded to me. I was provided facilities which were available to other actors and actresses as well. I am cluless why such mindless rumours surround me whenever there an IPL tournament is on,' she adds.

Lakshmi Rai is eagerly looking forward for the release of Adhinayakadu, in which she has shares the screen space with Tollywood top actor Balakrishna. 'It is a dream come true to share the screen space with a star like Balakrishna,' she says.
