'Housefull' star Lara Dutta makes a comeback to the silver screen after featuring in 'Fitoor'. Her next role will be that of a lawyer in the 'Azhar' biopic. Lara plays a no-nonsense public prosecutor, who fearlessly stands for the truth.

Lara said, "It's a challenging role and I had fun playing it because it's a totally fictional character but integral to the narrative." As a part of the preparation the actress met her lawyer friend and is now seeking her advice for the character. She even observes her friend in the court, her way of speaking, body language etc.

The film is directed by Tony D'Souza and he thought Lara was apt for the role of the lawyer. Lara and Tony have worked earlier for the film 'Blue' together. The film has been shot mostly in Hyderabad and few scenes in London.
