(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lea Michele says she would pose nude to make a stand against wearing animal fur.

The talented 24-year-old is best known for her role as Rachel Berry in the hit US musical comedy show Glee, and she hopes to use her celebrity for a good cause.

Lea attended a recent gala organised by the animal rights group PETA, along with other top A-list celebrities such as Pamela Anderson and Dave Navarro.

In the past, PETA has famously asked female celebrities whether they would rather go naked than wear clothing made with real animal fur, and a host of famous faces including Pamela have stripped off for their iconic campaigns.

Now Lea has announced that although she doesnt think it would be entirely necessary, she would be happy to follow in Pamelas footsteps, because she cares so passionately about animal rights.

"I don't think we need to see a billboard of me naked to know I am anti-fur," she told the website Radar. "But if they asked I would probably do it."

If Lea decided to go through with the nude photo shoot, it would be done in a tasteful way as the campaigns are designed to be political, not provocative.

Pamela says she found doing the shoot helped her move away from the sex-symbol image she gained playing an attractive lifeguard in the 90s television show Baywatch.

"I called them from Baywatch and said, 'Please give me something to do. I'm so sick of talking about my boyfriends and my boobs', explained Pamela. (C) Cover Media
