LeAnn Rimes admits that at times she feels like marriage is "a lot to handle."

The singer and her actor husband Eddie Cibrian celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary on April 22.

Eddie has two sons with his ex Brandi Glanville and LeAnn has been actively involved in the tots' lives.

The star faces challenges as a stepmother, but is adapting well.

"It's been nutty a lot to handle, but it's been great all at the same time," LeAnn told Extra. "A lot has happened in the last three years acclimating to having these two little boys in my life and figuring our way around that whole world of you know, co-parenting and kids."

LeAnn is also juggling a hectic working life and may even clench a spot as a judge on Simon Cowell's upcoming season of the US version of The X Factor.

"I have no idea [if I'll be a judge]. I've had many talks with them. We'll see!" she revealed.

Other famous faces linked to the X Factor panel include Britney Spears, Beyonc Knowles, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson.

LeAnn has a clear favourite to win out of this selection of superstars.

"I think Britney Spears would be an interesting choice," she shared. "I mean, I think definitely if you have Britney and me on a panel it'd be two completely different people, completely different backgrounds, different strengths, weaknesses."
