Legal trouble for Indian Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli and wife Anushka Sharma as they are handed notice by a man named Arhhan Singh who was scolded by Anushka for throwing plastic garbage on the roadside. A small video footage was clicked at the heat of the moment and Virat shared it on his official twitter handle making it viral in no time.
Singh said in a statement,"Hi. My legal advisors have sent a notice to Mr Virat Kohli and Mrs Anushka Sharma Kohli." He further stated, "As the ball is in their court, no comments now..as in all fairness I should await their response." This video was captioned, "Don't throw garbage on the road, You can't just throw plastic around like that on the streets. Use a dustbin." Click here to watch the video.
Kohli posted the video on 16th of June which got millions of views whereas Arhhan Singh came up with an open letter on Facebook where he apologized for the garbage incident but even took a dig on Anushka by saying her "The garbage that mistakenly went out of the window of my luxury car... Was way less than the garbage that came out from your mouth." Whereas, Congressmen Sanjay Jha also raised the question to Sharma and Kohli about the social media post through his tweet that read.
Earlier, Arhhan Singh's mother Gittanjali Elizabeth Singh lashed out at Virushka over Instagram by writing a long post. It read "The last thing we would want is to get publicity out of your cheap STUNT in the name of CLEANLINESS!"
"Celebrities don’t need to promote themselves when supposedly attempting a good thing," Jha tweeted on Saturday. "How much publicity do you want, guys?"
