Liam Neeson impressed by humble co-star

3rd March 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Liam Neeson enjoyed working with Diane Kruger on their new movie, as she didnt bring an ego to set.

The two appear alongside each other in Unknown, in which Liam portrays Dr. Martin Harris. Martin has an accident which puts him in a coma, and when he wakes up no one recognises him. He enlists the help of Dianes character Gina to help him prove the truth.

Unknown is an action movie, and Liam was impressed with how well Diane adapted to the set. Shes a lovely, lovely actress and she gets stuck in. Shes totally committed, very, very brave and she was a joy to work with. There were no egos on set, no kind of... shes just a lovely, lovely girl, he said.

Liam, 58, has become something of an action hero lately, appearing in Taken, The A-Team and now Unknown. He loves the tough fight sequences in the latest picture, and says the physically demanding scenes help him stay young.

It was the script [that attracted me to Unknown]. It was also a genre Ive never really explored before in 55/56 films. Taken of course, but..., he said in a video interview posted on independent.co.uk.

I like to do the fight sequences, I love doing that physical stuff. I keep pretty fit, I get such a kick and a job out of playing that physical stuff.

Its an edge of your seat thriller. Its a really good ride and theres a couple of psychological twists. (C) Cover Media
