(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lily Collins wants to interview the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Already a successful model and actress, Lily also harbours writing ambitions. She used to pen a column for Elle Girl UK and is considering going back to journalism as some point in her life.
The 22-year-old has a list of people she'd love to sit down with, and top of it is Britain's Prince William and his wife Catherine.
"Besides American President Barack Obama, the people I'd most like to chat with are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton," she explained.
Lily is the daughter of drummer Phil Collins and Jill Tavelman. She knows many think she's only become successful because of her famous father, but insists that's not true.
The star tries hard not to use her impressive lineage to get jobs and is confident she's got where she is today because of her talent.
"Well, I know, the name Collins can open many doors, but it's up to me to keep them open. That's why I prefer to use it as little as possible and do my own thing," she explained.
"For example I realised there was no one of my age writing for magazines. So I contacted the editors of Elle and I proposed a diary, LA Confidential, with reports on what a teenager can do and see in Los Angeles. My own page! I also worked with Cosmo Girl and Teen Vogue. I love to communicate." (C) Cover Media
