Bollywood veteran Naseeruddin Shah has been a face of Indian cinematic excellence. His flawless performances have pushed him to the top of the ladder of critically sound actors. Naseer, who has done varied films in equally varied genres, was recently seen in films like Anurag Kashyap’s ‘That Girl In Yellow Boots’ and Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Doabara’ in small cameos and yet he managed to attract people’s attention.

He recently revealed the secret behind his success run at the box-office. Naseer says that as an actor he never chooses a script on the basis of the brand or its potential at the box-office. He says that he has always been very choosy but the choices always came from his heart as well as instincts. He says only when a script catches his interest does he do the film.

He will be next seen in Ekta Kapoor’s next production ‘The Dirty Picture’ and Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Michael’ which are two contrasting films that this veteran has apparently pulled off with panache.
