(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan has been ordered in court today to stop throwing parties and to limit the amount of guests she has in her home at any given time.

The troubled 24-year-old actress has been under house arrest since late April. She is completing her sentence following her misdemeanour jewellery theft charge that requires 120 days of confinement in her home and 480 hours of community service.

Today Lindsay was called back into court to check whether she has violated the terms of her probation in a separate 2007 DUI case.

While on lockdown in her home, Lindsay has thrown lavish parties and has even filmed commercials.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner was disappointed in Lindsay and stated in proceedings that the star used "extremely poor judgment" in her decision to throw parties while she was under house arrest.

As a result of Lindsay's decisions, the judge mandated that Lindsay end her residential festivities entirely and that the star has very few people at her house at any interval.

The court has sanctioned Lindsay's revelry, but Lindsay did not go to jail as a result of reportedly failing an alcohol blood test. (C) Cover Media
