Lindsay Lohan ready for prison'

2nd November 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Lindsay Lohan is ready to "face" a jail sentence.

The actress will return to court today in connection with a probation violation.

Her representation says Lindsay is prepared to accept her fate

"Lindsay is an extremely strong individual, and is going to do whatever she has to do in order to move on with her life," Lindsay's representative, Steve Honig, told Radar.com. "She is a gifted artist, a compassionate individual and a loyal person who is true to herself. Whatever happens today, she will face it with spirit, courage and strength."

Lindsay will reportedly formally admit to the probation violation, for failure to appear at her court ordered community service at the Downtown Women's Center in Los Angeles.

Her work at the homeless shelter was part of her sentence after she pleaded no contest in a jewellery theft case earlier this year.

Judge Stephanie Sautner has previously indicated that she is ready to give Lindsay a prison sentence.

"Judge Stephanie Sautner has conveyed to the City Attorney, DA, and Lindsay's attorney, Shawn Holley that she is leaning towards sentencing Lindsay to 30 days behind bars," a source connected to the case told Radar.com. "Lindsay will be remanded into custody immediately, and because of jail overcrowding, she will be out in about six to seven days."

The hearing will take place at 10am PT at the LAX Airport Courthouse. (C) Cover Media
