(Cover) - EN Star Style - Lindsay Lohans new shoe line is fashion-forward but not trendy.

The American actress is extending her fashion brand 6126 Collection to include footwear and the star is not leaving any of the design process to chance.

She is always ultra-prepared with ideas for her stylish designs in heels, boots and wedges, and is intent on creating shoes consumers can wear for years to come.

[Lindsay chooses] fashion-forward but not trendy [shoes], her business partner Kristi Kaylor told People.com. Theyre timeless youre buying an over-the-knee boot to wear for years.

The 24-year-old movie star has had a heavy hand in the design process, and turns up to meetings packed with ideas for different creations.

Most of them centre on the theme of Hollywood glamour, but with an added modern, personal twist.

She comes to meetings with tears, photos, and fabrics. She brings her own shoes in to show specifics. Shes ultra-prepared, all the time, Kristi said.

The quality items are expected to retail between $100-450, and will be in stores later this year. (C) Cover Media
