September 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Lahari Recording Company in association with its new subsidiary Lahari Vision, has come up with a DVD titled 'Lion 200', which is released to pay a tribute to late Kannada film actor Dr. Vishnuvardhana.

Lahari Recording Company, which is owned by G Manohar Naidu and G Thulsiram Naidu, is one of the famous audio houses in Karnataka. It has been in the audio business since last three decades and has the audio rights of most of the Dr. Vishnuvardhana films. They have launched the DVD 'Lion 200' to show their respect to the departed soul of the actor.

The DVD reflects the life sketch of Dr Vishnuvardhana with many visuals of his personal and professional life, which has been collected in the last one year. They planned to release the DVD in two volumes at the time of release of his 200th movie, but he passed away before that. Thus, the DVD release was postponed to take place on the 60th birthday of the late actor on September 18. His wife Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana released the DVD.

The research work was done by SLN Swamy to make the DVD look authentic. He is also the director of this DVD. Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, who watched the contents of the DVD, was impressed with the work.

The 'Lion 200' DVD can be purchased at Rs.75 and is being sold in the market rapidly. They are trying to make the DVD available from Bidar to Mysore very soon.
