It has been a decade now when Lashkar-e-Taiba's terrorist attacked the Economic capital of India, Mumbai on 26 November 2008 and random firing at Leopold Cafe followed by multiple grenade attacks at Taj Mahal hotel and blind firing at CSMT; leaving hundreds of people dead and injured.
One of the unsung heroes to remember is the assistant sub-inspector of the Mumbai Police Tukaram Omble AC who got martyred in the act while combating terrorists at Girgaum Chowpatty Mumbai, and was the reason India caught Pakistan based terrorist Ajmal Kasab alive taking 27 bullets on his chest.
Now celebs from B-town came forward with a tweet to remember this tragic day also paying tribute to some of the unsung heroes.
Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, "Tributes to those who lost their lives in the gruesome 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai. Our solidarity with the bereaved families. A grateful nation bows to our brave police and security forces who valiantly fought the terrorists during the Mumbai attacks."
While actor Aftab Shivdasani shared the pics of all the martyr who lost their lives in this attack and captioned it "Let's not forget the sacrifices of these brave sons of India. Jai Hind #MumbaiTerrorAttack #2611Attack #tenyears"
Varun Dhawan wrote, "Will never forget 26/11. We have only grown stronger"
