(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are taking their relationship one step further by spending the Christmas holidays together.

In a move that is only usually done when couples are serious about each other, the Hollywood duo jetted off to Ryan's native Canada to spend time with his family.

The pair have been spotted out shopping in Vancouver and were seen in a toy store and later picking up some cupcakes.

A source told Us Weekly that the couple went out for dinner with Ryan's mother and brother on Monday to Tojos restaurant and Blake, 24, was very comfortable in their company.

The following day they had lunch at a bagel store and were said to be "really friendly" but kept to themselves.

Ryan, 35, apparently rarely brings women home to Canada so it is a sign that the Green Lantern co-stars have become very serious.

On a recent trip to New York, it was Ryan's turn to entertain his prospective in-laws and he went for breakfast with the Gossip Girl star's sister and brother-in-law.

Blake and Ryan were seen "poking each other, giggling, and leaning on each other in the booth". (C) Cover Media
