Lohan's team fires back at fame-hungry dad

22nd October 2012

Lindsay Lohan's lawyers and manager did not work with her father to organise an intervention for the actress, her spokesperson claims.

Michael Lohan showed up at the actress Beverly Hills, California home on Friday amid concerns over her alleged hard-partying.

Police were called to the scene and Michael left the property.

He claimed at the time Lindsay's team backed him up.

An email correspondence obtained by TMZ appeared to show Lindsay's entertainment lawyer, Dave Feldman, criminal defense lawyer, Shawn Holley, and manager, Evan Hainey, were on board with the intervention.

However, Lindsay's representative Steve Honig has denied the claims.

"It's apparent Michael continues to be very focused on getting publicity for himself. Lindsay's team is in no way aligned with him or his actions," he told RadarOnline.

Michael is reportedly planning to ask a court to make the actress subject of a conservatorship.

According to TMZ, the 52-year-old is determined to get help for his daughter as he is convinced she is back on drugs.

Lindsay, who is estranged from her father, is believed to be seeking a protection order to prevent him from making another attempt at an intervention.
