Lynn Collins didn't feel "sexualised" in her skimpy John Carter attire.
The stunning actress plays Dejah Thoris, Princess of Helium in the Andrew Stanton-directed science fiction epic. Lynn dons a series of flesh-baring ensembles in the film, including an impressive gown which shows off her fabulous curves.
Lynn admits to feeling empowered by her outfits.
"That dress is amazing! Mayes C. Rubeo designed it and it had 100,000 Swarovski crystals on it and it was incredible, but it was much lighter than you might think," she told Cover Media.
"Playing this part I never once, really and honestly, never felt sexualised even though I wasn't wearing that many clothes. But that is just how she was and how she existed on Mars but that dress is actually Zodangan it's not from Helium, she actually says this is too vulgar for me.'"
Lynn is sure her on-screen outfits will appeal to many young men.
The 34-year-old says her modernised ensembles are far more appealing than the outfits from the Edgar Rice Burroughs' 11-volume Barsoom series - which the film is based upon.
"What you would normally see Dejah in is what she is wearing in the Hall of Science, the long robes - but I don't think the guys are going to be having posters of me in the long robes," she laughed.
John Carter is released in UK cinemas from March 9.
