The talk in Kollywood is that producer Dayanidhi Alagiri, who earlier said that Ajith's 50th film 'Mankatha' is his prestigious venture, has decided to sell the distribution rights of the movie to another popular production and distribution house.

"Mankatha will now be released by Gemini Film Circuit. The decision to change hands has been taken due to some unavoidable reasons," say circles close to the development. With Ajith, Trisha, Arjun, Anjali, Andrea Jeremiah, Lakshmi Rai, Premgi Amaran and Vaibhav Reddy playing pivotal roles, 'Mankatha', directed by Venkat Prabhu, has music by Yuvanshankar Raja.

"An audio launch is being planned soon and the film will hit the screens by August," sources say, adding: "Mankatha will be a complete entertainer with Ajith giving his best to the film. Venkat Prabhu took enough care to ensure that Ajith fans are thoroughly satisfied."
