Martin Lawrence and his wife Shamicka Lawrence are getting divorced.

The couple were together for 15 years before finally tying the knot in their Beverly Hills home back in 2010.

The Big Momma's House star told People magazine in a joint statement about their break up.

"Martin and Shamicka Lawrence have decided to divorce," the rep said. "The couple has made the joint decision to part ways."

"Out of love and respect for one another we will continue to remain friends and raise our two beautiful daughters together."

Martin has just come off of a nationwide comedy tour and has filmed a comedy pilot for CBS.
