(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Matthew Morrisons new album sounds a little bit like Justin Timberlake.
The singer-and-actor is best known for playing teacher Will Schuester in successful US television series Glee, which is about geeky high school students who share a love of singing.
Matthews debut record is due out later this year, and his fans cant wait to hear what sort of sounds will be on it. The LP includes a collaboration with Sir Elton John, and one of Matthews Glee co-stars has now revealed some more secrets about it.
Jenna Ushkowitz, who portrays Tina Cohen-Chang, explained Matthew has been speaking to the cast about the upcoming tracks. [He] made his own sound... He says it's a little bit of Justin Timberlake ... [and] symphonic-sounding, she said. We're really proud of him. His music is really great.
It seems Justins material is a big hit among those involved with Glee, as another star of the show has revealed the cast will be playing homage to him in an upcoming episode. Heather Morris, who plays Brittany Pierce, is sure fans will be excited when they see how the songs are reworked for the programme.
I think his music might be coming to our show, she told MTV News. It's a mash-up.
Harry Shum Jr. plays Mike Chang in Glee and is constantly seen showing off his dance moves. He owes many of them to Justin, and hopes the star will give acting a break to return to his music roots before too long.
It's been awhile since we've seen Justin Timberlake with his music videos, so please, come back Justin. We wanna see some new stuff! he pleaded. (C) Cover Media
