Alec Baldwin wants big government office

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alec Baldwin is eager to pursue his political ambitions, revealing he wants to run a big office with plenty of employees.

The 52-year-old actor took home his fifth Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Award at last nights ceremony, receiving the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series prize for his portrayal of Jack Donaghy in hit US comedy 30 Rock.

As well as being a talented actor, Alec is famously interested in politics, and is well known for voicing his opinions notably during former US President George W. Bushs time in power from 2001 to 2009.

Alec has spoken of his desire to work in politics in the past, and says he has large projects in mind because he wants to run for a "big office" with "a lot of people working for him".

Alec was speaking to ETs Nancy O'Dell at last nights SAG Award ceremony, and he also teased that none of the ladies working for him would wear wedding rings.

Despite being eager to work in the government, the actor isnt in a rush to launch his political career.

"I would like to but that's in the distant future because I have to finish what I'm doing now... This is what I'm doing for the next couple years and that's something that requires your undivided attention, he replied when asked if he plans to run for office. (C) Cover Media
